Figure Drawing Funness 2
Posted By :Date :Laura | 05-08-2015
Drawings from my last figure drawing session — Again, a great model with a great figure and sense of expression. As usual, we started out with fast poses for gesture drawing, and then the last hour and a half we had just one pose. I decided to do a portrait for the last session, but I feel like the final piece is too unfinished, and I didn't take quite enough time in the measuring stages. Figure Drawing Funness

Here are some drawings from the last figure drawing session - our model this time was awesome, classically trained dancers almost always make great models, they have such control over their poses and can convey a great deal of emotion just in the way they arrange themselves. So, I have recently had a few requests to post examples of my traditional work. There's a lot of it, but I thought I would start with some of my charcoal drawings. Enjoy!         [gallery ids="587,589,584,590,588,586,585"]
