Many of my original pieces end up as prints or on other products, including magnets, shirts, and stationary. One of the the things I love about what I do is to make art more accessible, so I do my best to make sure that the things I produce hit a range of affordability. As much as I love working in traditional media, there is also something fun and amazing about painting and working digitally. It requires less preparation and clean-up, less in material costs, it is often faster (at least compared to the excruciating dry time of oil painting!) and you can achieve amazing results. It is also perfect for combining with traditional skills. All of my comic work, though inked by hand, is cleaned up and colored using Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator. Over the years, I have discovered a need as an artist to create original pieces of art. With over a decade of traditional media training, but an essentially geeky personality, I have been working on combining my enjoyment of nerd culture with my love for the traditional art process.
